It is far safer and more comfortable than most people expect, and nothing like it sounds. Both you and your artist will wear protective eyewear during the weld as a standard safety measure.

Each appointment takes around 8 to 12 minutes from start to finish. You choose your chain, it is custom measured and fitted to your wrist, then welded closed. Before you leave we do a quick four-point check (that you sign off on) to make sure the weld is secure, the chain is not broken, the sizing is right, and that you are happy with your piece.

Permanent jewellery is designed to be worn daily and is not intended to be removed. If you ever need to take it off, simply cut the jump ring with a small pair of nail clippers or jewellery snips. It can then be rewelded at a future appointment. Please note that if the chain is removed or lost, a new bracelet will need to be purchased. ** We also have the option to add a clasp to your piece **

Metal can tarnish over time depending on your body's pH level, exposure to salt water, chlorine, harsh chemicals, lotions, sunscreen, and perfumes. Metal sensitivities or allergic reactions may occur in some people. If you have known skin conditions, metal allergies, or sensitivities, please let us know before your appointment. If you have any implanted medical devices or conditions that may be affected by the welding process, please disclose this beforehand.

Yes, it is designed to be worn every day including in the shower. To keep it looking its best, avoid excessive exposure to lotions, perfumes, sunscreen, and chemicals including chlorine. If it needs a clean, warm water, a soft toothbrush, and mild dish soap works perfectly. The chains are made to last but they are not indestructible, so treat it with a little care and it will stay beautiful.

Jewellery may stretch, break, or wear over time with daily use. Please note that as this is a travel event, Signature Hause will not be based in Melbourne after the conference. If you experience any issues with your piece after the event, please reach out via Instagram DM at @signature.hause and we will do everything we can to help you find a solution, including connecting you with a local permanent jewellery artist who can assist with a reweld. We genuinely want you to love your piece long after the day is done.

Yes. All guests are required to acknowledge the nature of the service before their appointment begins. The waiver covers the inherent risks of the procedure and confirms that you are voluntarily undergoing the service. You will also need to confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or that a parent or legal guardian has approved the procedure. This is standard practice and takes only a moment at the start of your appointment.

Signature Hause may capture photos and videos at the event for use on social media, website, and marketing purposes. By attending your appointment you are giving permission for this content to be used. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, simply let us know at the start of your appointment and we will absolutely respect that.

When you pre-register and select your preferred piece, Signature Hause purchases stock specifically based on your order ahead of the event. Your deposit partially covers the cost of sourcing your chosen piece. Because stock is ordered to fulfil confirmed registrations we are unable to offer refunds once a deposit has been received. All permanent jewellery appointments are final sale due to the custom nature of the service.

Just make sure your wrist is accessible and free of heavy jewellery or chunky cuffs in the area you want the bracelet. That is it. We handle everything else and will walk you through the full process at your appointment.

For the ILM Melbourne event, the pre-registration system works as a two-step process. A $50 deposit is paid at the time of registration to secure your spot and your discounted pricing, and the remaining balance is paid on the day at your appointment. On the day we also accept Afterpay and Zip Pay, so if you are thinking about treating yourself to more than one piece, we have got you covered.
